Welcome Seniors!

For the fourth year in a row, Chisholm Designs is thrilled to be working with OU's Musical Theatre program to help the graduating seniors to arrive in New York and showcase season with a bad-ass digital presence.

First things first. I am not here to give homework. I am not here to tell you what kind of art you should make or how to make it. I am here as a resource, a sounding board, and a comrade-in-arms to help you get a website that will stand out from and above the crowd.

Option One: Consult

So you are pretty tech savvy and want to build a site on your own? Or, you've already built one that you are decently pleased with?

‍That's amazing.

There are a number of systems out there that allow almost anyone the ability to create a functioning website. And while there are certainly drawbacks and limitations to these systems, which are necessary to make it as DIY as possible, that doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't use them.

If you are interested in building your own website, I will be available for an hour-long consultation with you about the process. Or I can take a look at and offer feedback/recommendations on a site you've already built. I want to help you make the best site possible, and the 10 years of experience from my company is at your disposal.

It is important to know that there are costs to having a website, regardless if it's self-built or created by someone else.

These costs are:

Okay. It's senior year. You are focused on 1,000,000 different things in these last few months and building a website yourself is not high on your list of priorities, even though you know having a website is a vital tool for an artist, especially in today's climate.

‍That's okay. I get it. I've been there.

And I'm now here to help. Part of the partnership between OU and Chisholm Designs includes the option for students to have a custom built Starter Site by Chisholm Designs.

These sites are tailored to your essence as a creative artist. They will include all the major pieces of content and information you will want for your entry into the industry, at a fraction of the cost of a full site build. These sites are meant to grow with you and your career. So as you finish school and begin your next steps, your website will evolve alongside your journey.

These sites are structured as streamlined, effective and clear representations of you. And we have the opportunity, post graduation, of re-imagining and restructuring the website as time progresses.

If you want to go this route, the monetary value of the consultation option above will be applied to the cost of the website build.

Here is the pricing breakdown:

This option also includes a full year of updates and maintenance included. After that, a yearly update fee of $100* covers all updates for the next calendar year.

I completely understand if these numbers are scary. But believe me when I say OU and Chisholm Designs have worked hard to bring you custom websites for a fraction of the normal cost. Our client websites begin at a base rate of $2000, with a yearly maintenance fee of $200.

SHOWCASE

All of your hard work has paid off and you are ready to take the next step. Showcase is right around the corner and we will be there by your side every step of the way. Chisholm Designs will craft a digital showcase to supplement your in person showcase, allowing the opportunity for your work to be seen, long after you've taken your bow. We've had students in the past receive auditions and meetings months after showcase was over, because the agents and casting directors were able to go back to the showcase site and revisit performances.
